2025 Travel Awards for the 2025 Conference in Fort Collins, CO

The Wyoming Chapter of The Wildlife Society announces the availability of travel awards for members who are attending and presenting a talk or poster at the WY-TWS CO-TWS Joint Annual Conference to be held in Fort Collins, CO (March 4-7, 2025). Three student travel grants of $250 and three professional travel grants of $250 are available.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible, applicants must be a member of WY-TWS at the time of application and planning on presenting a talk or poster. To be eligible for the student travel grant you must be a student at the time of the conference.

Application Components:

Each applicant must submit the following:

Completed application form;
A one-paragraph description of involvement in TWS activities (student chapter, state chapter, section, or national/international TWS). Applicants with TWS involvement will be given preference, but all applications will be considered;
A one-paragraph description of why you should receive a WY-TWS Travel Grant.

Applications are due January 1, 2025.

Selected awardees will be notified by February 1st. To receive the grant money, selected awardees MUST send a receipt confirming registration for the conference (a forwarded copy of your e-mail registration confirmation will meet this requirement) to the WY-TWS Treasurer at treasurerwytws@gmail.com.
